New York City Tango, the only dance studio in NYC dedicated to Tango, has opened in the heart of the Theater District at 354 W. 45th St. Founded in September by U.S. Stage Tango Champion, Jevgeni Davidov, and his fiancé, Grammy Award-winning violinist and music producer, Miri Ben-Ari, the couple brings to NYC their successful formula of dance lessons, dance parties, milongas, tango workshops, Master Classes and community which they perfected over the last 8 years at their Edgewater, NJ school, Hudson Dance Studio.

The Edison Ballroom is proud to announce that once again it will host its special, SEPTEMBER SWING event, featuring the legendary big band leader, Joe Battaglia and the New York Big Band. Mark your calendar for Friday, September 21st for this special, not-to-be-missed event. For over 10 years, Joe and his orchestra have performed regularly right here at the Edison Ballroom where he had continued to delight audiences of all ages. Joe’s New York Big Band is composed of a 16 piece orchestra as well as accompanying vocalists. His brilliant big band sound is truly noteworthy. In the past, Joe has performed for such dignitaries as Hilary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, and Barbara Walters, and he and his band have travelled the world with artists such as Tony Bennett and Shirley Bassey.
