Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing will feature five nights of incredible Latin music and social dance under the stars. Returning to Damrosch Park, New York City, from June 25–July 13, dancers can enjoy the sounds and steps of salsa, mambo, tango and more. Social Dance Series Celebrates Latin Rhythms and Dance Over Five Nights With Performances by: The just-announced Cuban superstar band Formell y Los Van Van, Rare New York performance by Brazilian icon and “Queen of Forró” Elba Ramalho, Chulo Records’s Los Hacheros blend authentic salsa aesthetics with New York attitude, Classic salsa rhythms on the Fourth of July with renowned bandleader Bobby Valentín and his orchestra and Golden-age tango with Analía Goldberg’s Sextet, of Orquesta Color Tango. Tickets for individual events and passes can be purchased in advance at the David Geffen Hall Box Office or beginning at 5:30 pm on the night of the event at a box office in Damrosch Park.
