Joe Battaglia and The New York Big Band Headline The Edison Ballroom

This New Years Eve, the Edison Ballroom is proud to host the legendary big band leader, Joe Battaglia and the New York Big Band at our not-to-be-missed “Annual New Years Eve Gala 2019”.  Having traveled the world performing with icons like Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, and Tony Bennett, Joe’s brilliant big band sound is considered among the best ever.  
Joe and his band have performed for such dignitaries as Hilary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, and Barbara Walters.  For many years, Joe and his orchestra have performed regularly at The Rainbow Room, Tavern on the Green and Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing.
Joe’s New York Big Band is composed of a 16-piece orchestra as well as accompanying vocalists. Also featured at the event will be the romantic Latin sounds of Direct Latin Influence band, also known as DLI.

Award-winning chef and former “Chopped” champion Mina Newman will provide an incredible meal for this special event. The meal will include choices of salad, appetizer, main course and dessert. In the past, appetizer options have included Pan Roasted Sea Scallops, Yellow Fin Tuna Tartar, and Butternut Squash Ravioli with Roasted Hazelnuts. Entrées have included choices such as Filet Mignon, served with Scalloped Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus, Roasted Chicken Breast with Potato Hash, and Pan Seared Salmon with Wild Rice Pilaf. Desserts are sure to be festive!

Dinner and dancing are priced at only $395.00 per person, which include VIP seating, a sumptuous four course meal, all drinks, taxes and gratuities. Festivities start at 8:00 PM. 

Mezzanine seating tickets are also available at a price of $295.00 per person, which includes all the above. 

This event ends at 2:00 AM, with continuous dancing throughout. Party favors will be distributed, and a champagne toast will commence at 12:00 AM.
