News Blurb: Midsummer Night Dances at the Vanderbilt Museum

Third season of Midsummer Night Dances, held most Thursday evenings in the Celebration Tent takes place at the Vanderbilt Museum. 

The dances are scheduled for the following Thursdays: August 7, 21 and 28 and September 4. The gate opens at 6:00, lessons are at 6:30, dinner is served beginning at 7:00, and dancing is 7:00-9:30. Each week features a different food theme.
 
The evening features ballroom and other types of dancing, as well as lessons in a different dance step each week, taught by professional instructors. The August 7th dance is the Hustle, instructed by Marc James; the August 21 dance is Waltz, with Lisa Sparkles Ballroom and Latin Dancing Studio; the August 28 dance is Cha Cha, with Don Angeletti; the September 4 is Latin Night, with Antz Joseph.
