New York City – Nashville Style! On December 18, 2011, Big South Music Group will present a Country Christmas Charity Concert at The Copacabana in New York City featuring country star and Dancing with the Stars contestant Chuck Wicks along with opening acts Marla Morris and Rose Coppola from New Haven County, CT. The two charities involved in this event are the Food Bank For New York City and the Second Harvest Food Bank in Nashville, TN. The event is the first Country Concert the Copacabana has held!
There are three events one can attend throughout the evening. The first event that will take place is a family style dinner prior to the show. At this time the audience will be able to enjoy a “southern” buffet while being able to purchase raffle tickets for exclusive goods and services which will benefit the charities. 30 of the dinner guests will be randomly chosen to meet and greet Chuck Wicks and the performers during the dinner event. Following the dinner is the show, featuring country star Chuck Wicks as well as rising country singer Marla Morris and Rose Coppola’s “Girls Revue.” The evening will conclude with a party on the rooftop of the Copacabana. During the rooftop festivities, the guests will be able to mingle with the performers and indulge in an open wine and cheese bar.
