- Noted Austrian jazz musician Franz Hackl, who will take the audience on a musical journey to Austria. A free waltz lesson. Learn to dance like a pro and practice your new skills throughout the evening.
WHAT: A magical evening culminating in “the Big Waltz”, the grand finale where attendees take center stage at Lincoln Center’s outdoor plaza to dance to the “Blue Danube Waltz”, an expression of uniquely Austrian culture originally made famous by Johann Strauss. With thousands of guests dancing in unison, this may well feel like the largest outdoor ballroom EVER! And admission is FREE!
